While reading and writing continue to flourish and publishing and bookselling continue to flounder a group of publishers are trying to figure out how to market to the internet generation of readers.
The era of the Big Box is coming to an end, thanks to the internet. Networked communities of mutually essential providers have replaced the big store model and the ebook has changed publishing and book buying.
Bookish seems to be a general book recommendation model. I was hoping it would be a social media/facebook like sight for established authors. Todays brand is all about the relationship.
Its a good idea, but I am not sure it goes far enough.
